Q125491264 and Q4068301 edit
Created an already existing item (did not notice the original item because it lacked an English label). 176.105.196.27 21:22, 15 April 2024 (UTC)
Same fullname, similar years, same portrait in OpenLibrary and AzlibRu. Podbrushkin (talk) 13:14, 18 April 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks, I've merged the items. All three Wikipedia articles currently state that she lived 1779–1850 so I removed the unsourced values (1777 and 1843). –Samoasambia ✎ 19:26, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
Q125310503 and Q125310506 edit
Q125310506 all caps version of Q125310503. No data on either Wikidata page, other than "researcher", which is vague but can be confirmed via Google. No Wikipedia entries linked for either individual. He's listed numerous times in citations on en Wikipedia, but I didn't find a page that mentioned him outside of the References section.
In short, I see no indication that Q125310503 and Q125310506 aren't the same person. OIM20 (talk) 18:18, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- Both persons have two papers each authored on Wikidata. Based on matching affiliations and research topics on the papers I have merged the items. –Samoasambia ✎ 19:36, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
Q57082046 and Q112435201 edit
Q112435201 links to Library of Congress ID 2010127275 which states that he graduated Wageningen Agricultural Univ with a Masters in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, specializing in Tropical Forestry Ecology and Silivculture
Q57082046 links to ORCID 0000-0001-9579-0831 which also states that he graduated with an MSc in Forestry from Wageningen University and Research Centre.
A search on either university name leads to the WUR website.
The ORCID lists authorship on Atlas of the potential Vegetation of Ethiopia for 2010, which is also listed on ID Ref 148609570, and NUKAT linked on Q112435201.
There are more links and data on Q112435201; Q57082046 only links to the ORCID. OIM20 (talk) 18:43, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- Merged, thanks for noting! –Samoasambia ✎ 19:41, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
Q54372330 - Jonathan E. M. Baillie is listed as one of the authors on A Global Deal For Nature: Guiding principles, milestones, and targets. If you click "Authors Info & Affiliations" a screen pops up on the right. If you click the ORCID symbol next to Jonathan E.M. Baillie it takes you to ORCID 0000-0002-4599-7524 which is the same ORCID listed on Q90257752. (It's private.)
Further, "A Global Deal For Nature" 's link to View All Articles by this Author shows "Forgotten Biodiversity in Desert Ecosystems", which is on Research Gate. Clicking on the name "Jonathan E M Baillie" in the list of 42 authors (he's last; you'll need to expand the list to see him) will take you to his RG profile which is linked on Q54372330.
These appear to be the same person. OIM20 (talk) 23:33, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
- ETA: Q54372330 has more links on it. OIM20 (talk) 23:34, 20 April 2024 (UTC)

The Devil On Two Sticks / The Devil Upon Two Sticks (5 entries) edit
Q110377963: The Devil on Two Sticks, penny blood seralization; Asmodeus, the devil on two sticks
Q110379717: The Devil on Two Sticks, penny blood edition; published by William Strange, 1840; Asmodeus, the devil on two sticks
All the information in the appears to match. The difference seems to be that Q110379717 lists the publisher while Q110377963 does not, but the info on both of them all matches to data from Price One Penny # 434. Both show publication date of 1840.
Then there The Devil Upon Two Sticks with the 1842 publication date:
Q110378486: Asmodeus, the devil on two sticks, penny blood edition; published by Willoughby and Co, 1842
Q110378488: Asmodeus, the devil on two sticks, penny blood edition; Illustrated standard edition
Information on these also pulls from the same Price One Penny # 434 reference.
And finally, the one with Wikipedia pages attached: Q3222271: The Devil upon Two Sticks, book by Alain-René Lesage; Asmodeus, The Lame Devil | Le Diable boiteux
This one shows the original publication date of 1707.
If different editions are meant to have their own Wikidata page, then I request that Q110377963 and Q110379717 be merged for the 1840 publication and that Q110378486 and Q110378488 be merged for the 1842 publication.
If there is meant to be one Wikimedia entry that encompasses all of the various editions, I would ask that all 5 entries be merged into Q3222271.
I apologize if I've misunderstood how the "add value" parameter works, as I thought that would be the method of adding different publication dates for the same literary work. OIM20 (talk) 20:21, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
Q19131544 links to Wikisource Alain-René Le Sage (Anatole France) which lists Crispin rival de son maître from 1707 (about halfway down the page).
Q267962 links to Wikisource Alain-René Lesage which also lists Crispin rival de son maître from 1707 - first under the list of works.
Q267962 is the one with all the Wikipedia pages linked. OIM20 (talk) 20:26, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
- Not done, Alain-René Lesage (Q267962) is a person, meanwhile Q19131544 is a book chapter about him. I added a mention about the book chapter to Q267962#P1343. –Samoasambia ✎ 12:47, 23 April 2024 (UTC)

- tun (Q1504146): unit of volume with different values
- tun (Q2379148): unit of volume with different values
Both items seem to be describing the same unit of volume. Not 100% sure though, as this isn't a topic area I'm experienced in, so listing here instead of merging myself. All the best, A smart kitten (talk) 17:54, 27 April 2024 (UTC)

- Watch, Hope and Wait Little Girl: I'm Coming Back To You (Q23003214): song
- Watch, Hope and Wait Little Girl: I'm Coming Back To You (Q27814006): song
As far as I can tell, both items seem to be about the same song. Watch, Hope and Wait Little Girl: I'm Coming Back To You (Q23003214) is linked to a redirect on enwiki that was merged into the article linked to Watch, Hope and Wait Little Girl: I'm Coming Back To You (Q27814006) in 2019; and the pre-merge versions of the two linked articles ([1], [2]) seem to be written about the same thing. I'm pretty sure that dendraarium (Q12360790) and arboretum (Q272231) are same, just a translation issue. Abductive (talk) 05:43, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- @Abductive: Estonian Wikipedia has articles on both: et:Arboreetum, et:Dendraarium. And there is also et:Dendropark (Q12360795). --Matěj Suchánek (talk) 09:30, 5 May 2024 (UTC)
- Maybe it's best to wait from the editors of the Estonian Wikipedia to merge their Arboreetum and Dendraarium articles, as they are clearly just different names for the same thing. Abductive (talk) 10:17, 5 May 2024 (UTC)
- I left a message about this to the embassy of Estonian Wikipedia. –Samoasambia ✎ 11:28, 7 May 2024 (UTC)

- I went to look at the text of Q98489785 in the United Nations Treaty Collection and Q11315737 as linked on Japanese Wikipedia, and they appear to be different treaties, even though they have been signed on the same day in Vienna. –Samoasambia ✎ 21:32, 8 May 2024 (UTC)
