Regarding this rollback, Trail of Tears State Forest (Q7832754) is instance of Illinois state forest (Q123220026) which is a subclass of Illinois state park (Q5999924). Therefore, Trail of Tears State Forest (Q7832754) is an (indirect) instance of Illinois state park (Q5999924), and it does not violate the constraint subject type constraint (Q21503250) if you use relation (P2309)instance of (Q21503252) as qualifier.
instance or subclass of (Q30208840), instead, means that Trail of Tears State Forest (Q7832754) can be both an instance or a subclass of Illinois state park (Q5999924), but it never happens that a forest/park is a subclass of Illinois state park (Q5999924). - @Horcrux: I was getting a constraint violation yesterday with the state forests when I added the Illinois State Parks ID property, which is why I changed the property. If that is still happening, I guess we could add Illinois state forest (Q123220026) into the subject type constraint. Maybe yesterday was just a glitch. Thanks.AdamSeattle (talk) 18:38, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
- @AdamSeattle: Ok, I'm looking at these four edits in a row [1][2][3][4]. Now I don't see any warning in Q4906215#P12117, do you? Maybe the problem could have been fixed with a simple purge in Big River State Forest (Q4906215) after the third edit. --Horcrux (talk) 19:12, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, it all looks good to me now too. I believe I did purge once or twice yesterday and that didn't stop the constraint, and changing the subject constraint was the only thing I could think of to get the constraint violation to go away. Still learning after all these years... ;) AdamSeattle (talk) 19:18, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
