Acceptable units edit
Should USD really be the only acceptable unit? EU import/export data is routinely given in euros, and the pound sterling, yen and renminbi (which form the special drawing rights basket) are also quite widely used. Smurrayinchester (talk) 13:07, 22 May 2017 (UTC)
- In fact, any currency should probably be allowed - if a country quotes their exports in their own currency, it's misleading to convert it to dollars (since the exchange rate will have varied over the year, which will have affected imports and exports in complex ways; maybe they don't make many sales in dollars; maybe they make the majority of their sales to Europe or Japan, etc).
