Discussion edit

I tried to follow one of the links today, and it seems that the links do not work anymore. I was redirected to a general page here. --Lymantria (talk) 06:58, 4 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Lymantria: They have changed the links, but they also seem to have changed the Ids. For example, consider Hypercalymnia Hampson
The new record shows that the record number is 14180.0, which is the number used by the current wikidata identifier, but the new pages all use a different Id (i.e. the database Id is different from the catalog record number):
The search of the record number at least produces a result with a link to the record, even if it doesn't take you to the record itself. The view_id is required but field and value can be trimmed. Linking to the search result is not ideal, but better than current link. Jts1882 (talk) 09:22, 13 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I've added the new formatted url for the search. It works using the taxonbar on English wikipedia, although links on wikidata are still using the old link (it's taking even longer than normal to update). Jts1882 (talk) 10:35, 13 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
It works fine on my side. --Lymantria (talk) 10:44, 13 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
