Changed regex edit

FYI, I changed the regex from [^\s\/]+ to [^\s]+. Topic IDs can contain slashes, such as events/september-11 at Q10806. Elliot321 (talk) 17:24, 12 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Identifiers/formatter changed edit

I noticed that the URL format *and* the identifiers have been changed. No longer are topics divided between country, events, issues, organisations, people & subjects. There's just "tag" and "where" now, as far as I can tell. The formatter has also been simplified.

At the time of writing, there were 14 items using the old identifiers, of which one has been fully withdrawn (Bernie Sanders). See Al-Jazeera topic identifiers, including deprecated statements (query). I have marked the old ones as deprecated and added a new formatter url, while keeping the old one, marked as deprecated. Since the identifiers have also changed and don't overlap, I was able to use the applies if regular expression matches (P8460) qualifier. --Azertus (talk) 11:42, 27 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
