English

linguistic form

any meaningful unit of speech such as word, phrase, sentence, morpheme, affix (prefix, suffix, etc.) and the like

Statements

linguistic form (English)
The term is a misnomer since it implies much broader scope than it seems to cover. It would seem to cover any linguistic entity, and thus, not only syntactic entities but also pronunciation entities, spelling entities and all other things that are forms that are linguistic. (English)
