Date wrong edit
Unfortunately, I strongly suspect that the Biografisch Portaal source has the wrong death date. First, on his portrait, his date of death says "27 Mei 1768", but without looking closely the '2' could be misread as a '1'. On the high-res Rijksmuseum scan it's very clearly a '2'. That would be just one thing, but a contemporary obit also says 27, and makes it even clearer by the fact that it's a list of obits in chronological order. It's completely possible they may have a source I don't know about, but as his date of birth comes from the engraving (modern research disagrees with it) I suspect someone just misread the engraving for DOD too.
