Alto / Contralto edit

Sometimes, what is "Alto" (or similar) in one language is "Contralto" (or similar) in another, sometimes it's not. If it's not, one of the languages often uses both terms with a slightly different meaning.

In a language like German, de:Alt (Stimmlage) ought to link to en:Contralto because that's the dominant meaning, but also to en:Alto; in reverse, en:Alto and en:Contralto should both link to de:Alt (Stimmlage). I understand that links to more than one interlanguage link have become impossible some time ago. I think that was a backwards step. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 06:01, 17 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
