Description edit

"entity with a single connected inherent 3D shape that's created by coordinated expression of the organism's own DNA": skin (Q1074) is anatomical structure (Q4936952)? --Fractaler (talk) 13:43, 22 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

I'm no anatomist, but that makes sense to me; I would even say that 'integument', which is a wider sense, would count. Arlo Barnes (talk) 05:34, 15 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

How about "anatomical structure type" for english label edit

There are 1000s of subclasses of this item which are all wrong as far as I can tell

SELECT ?item ?itemLabel WHERE {
  ?item (wdt:P279)* wd:Q4936952
 .
  SERVICE wikibase:label { bd:serviceParam wikibase:language "[AUTO_LANGUAGE],en,en"  }
}
LIMIT 10000
Try it!

. Examples of items from the above query I think is wrong is:

I think this problem arises in part because the label is misleading. I think if we call it "anatomical structure type" things will be cleaner.

Oppositely, they are correct subclasses of "anatomical structure" and would be wrong for "a.s. type". They would be P31 of "type". --Infovarius (talk) 16:52, 21 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
