Pronoun sets vs. personal pronouns edit

The label for this item should be personal pronoun set rather than "personal pronouns". A person's pronouns are "she/her" pronouns, not just "she", for example. This is especially important in cases where a principal pronoun may not be enough to distinguish between similar pronoun sets (for example, "ze/sir" vs. "ze/hir"). Additionally, all references to gender should be removed from this item's alternate labels. A person's personal pronouns and gender identity need not align, and the conflation of these two distinct characteristics of human beings is confusing. --Crystal Yragui, University of Washington Libraries (talk) 21:22, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

I agree about changing this label to pronouns sets and the disentangling of personal pronouns from gender identity. Individuals may also have multiple pronoun sets and pronouns can take different forms based on their part of speech. --Rodriguez.UW (talk) Rodriguez.UW (talk) 21:31, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
