P6077 (P6077): (delete | history | links | entity usage | logs | discussion)
@ديفيد عادل وهبة خليل 2, YULdigitalpreservation, Pigsonthewing, Cwf97, Jheald, Pintoch: The URL of this property is deprecated since 2020; when resolved anyway, it points to the same URL as British Museum person or institution ID (P1711). I have therefore migrated all uses (120 main, 44 refs) to this property, but it should be noted that for about half of the the 120ish cases as main value the identifiers had changed and pointed to another person, which could have resulted in confusion should this identifier had been kept. Now P6077 isn't used anymore, save for the three examples on the property itself. As it's a de facto duplicate of P1711, I propose that we delete it. —Jahl de Vautban (talk) 08:25, 2 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
- Any issue with making it a redirect?
- (assuming that's applicable here, which I realize may not be the case) DS (talk) 23:20, 15 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
- I'm not sure if it's technically possible but given the fact that some IDs now redirect to others persons I fear that this will only create confusion. As of today I have again removed any use of this property as main statements and references and have also modified the labels and description of the property to reflect that it shouldn't be used. --Jahl de Vautban (talk) 20:00, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- And, because you just removed them instead of updating them, thereby leaving uncited statements, I have to dig through all your edits from the past year. DS (talk) 21:50, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- I did in fact update them, save for a handful that I overlooked. --Jahl de Vautban (talk) 08:47, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
