This database is a valuable source of information on those working as printers, publishers and booksellers in England and Wales up to the mid-nineteenth century. It also contains data on those in related trades, such as engravers, stationers, papermakers and printsellers, which compliments existing external identifier properties like National Portrait Gallery (London) person ID (P1816) and British Museum person or institution ID (P1711).
