Motivation edit

The ERA Knowledge Graph (RINF) is a database which contains valuable information on the operational points across the European Union. It is hosted and maintained by the European Union Agency for Railways  – The preceding unsigned comment was added by J.bolinches2k (talk • contribs) at 21:29, 22 February 2023‎ (UTC).[reply]

Discussion edit

  • So this actually refers to linked data on a triplestore that the EU operates. Nice. this page defines an Operational point as:
An operational point (OP) means any location for train service operations, where train services may begin and end or change route, and where passenger or freight services may be provided; operational point also means any location at boundaries between Member States or infrastructure managers
This means that the domain need to be fixed, it should cover public stop places and perhaps other related things. I'll also recommend adding the following aliases: "Infrastructure Operational point in the European Union ID" and "Infrastructure OP in the EU ID" for short. European Commission Data Portal (Q5412398) should also be added as a data source. @J.bolinches2k: If you fix the domain (or acknowledge that it needs to be fixed), I'll support the proposal. You can ping me should I forget. Infrastruktur (talk) 09:00, 23 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the feedback. I may have copied a template for the domain and probably forgot/didn't save the changes to the actual Qnodes I had written down. It should be correct now. J.bolinches2k (talk) 13:22, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Dear @Infrastruktur,
is there an estimate for when will this property be incorporated? We are eager to start adding our first dump of ERA ids among the stations we have found. Thanks,

Have to give the discussion at least a week from the initial post. Notes to myself: ID Format: Unicode. Number of Operational Points: 59176 per 27.02.2023. Infrastruktur (talk) 18:04, 27 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
All right, thanks! 138.100.13.100 11:32, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
