Every company registered in Quebec gets one of these numbers, even if it is incorporated elsewhere. This number will help to disambiguate companies with similar names. This is not the same as Corporations Canada (Q5172549), which is federal. You can't access the Quebec number directly. Strong support Even though this identifier cannot be resolved with a formatter URL, one can easily use this number to search the Enterprise Registrar (Q3423625) and retrieve/verify reliable information such as the legal name, the legal form or the creation date. Association professionnelle des diffuseurs de spectacles RIDEAU (Q87727957) has been collecting the Québec Enterprise Number (Q105216179) from its members and will soon proceed with a batch upload of their member directory to Wikidata. I happened to have mentioned this property proposal at a meeting of Quebec-based cultural organizations on March 11, and two of the participants were keen enough to express their support. As representatives of organizations in Quebec, they know what the Numéro d'entreprise Québec is and they understand it would be a valuable ID in Wikidata. Support Not every identifier can be resolved into a URI. Administrative or conventional identifiers car serve as a bridge between classical and digital documentation of phenomenas, cultural, technical or of any other (or mixed) nature.
