How can I get {{infobox organization/Wikidata ... to disply the year with the "Revenue" figure in an infobox/Wikidata in Wikipedia?

Examples displaying and not displaying the year are provided in Wikipedia:Talk:Cross-Lines Community Outreach: The infobox referencing Pregnancy Justice (Q30288051) says, "Revenue 2,593,376 United States dollar (2019)". Sadly, the infobox referencing Cross-Lines Community Outreach (Q119294047) does NOT specify the year. I don't see how to fix that problem.

Suggestions?

SECOND: The first example in Wikipedia:Talk:Cross-Lines Community Outreach claims that it's for Cross-Lines, when it's actually for Pregnancy Justice: The code seems to take the name for the infobox from the article NOT from the Wikidata item. If someone enters an incorrect qid for that infobox/Wikidata, it could be a very subtle problem to even notice and therefore fix.

  1. What do you think about changing the code, so the name displayed at the top of the infobox by default is the name of the Wikidata item, NOT the name of the article containing that infobox?
  2. Second, what do you think about changing the code so it compares the name of the Wikidata item with the name of the article and warns a user of the apparent discrepancy?

I think the first of these should be mandatory. The second could also be useful but not as a substitute for the first: The warning could include instructions on how to override displaying the name for the Wikidata item, but it should NOT do that without asking a user if that's what they really want.

I found how to fix the date problem: I need to add the year (and series ordinal?) as a qualifier: "point in time" (and "series ordinal?), NOT as a reference.
This still leaves my second question regarding taking the name for the infobox from the host article NOT the qid.  ??? Thanks, DavidMCEddy (talk) 17:13, 12 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
