  • Meets set Wikidata notability guidelines and policies
  • Emphasis placed on personal names belonging to individuals from underrepresented and/or marginalized groups (BIPOC, LGBTQ+, women, etc.)
  • Personal names shared between participating institutions, when possible

North Carolina Metadata Connect (NCMC) is an association of North Carolina metadata professionals around the state with the goal of providing opportunities for professional development, information sharing, and collaboration.
