Project Summary

Overall Objectives

• Develop local expertise in Wikidata editing and increase linkage of multilingual & multicultural resources
  
• Discover, create, and test Wikidata workflows for reuse by GLAM institutions which deal with multilingual resources
  
• Coordinate with other institutions to prepare library data for linked data and the semantic web
  
• Help develop Wikidata best practices for multilingual library data
  

Tasks

• Identify a corpus of anonymous Jewish classics, parallel to similar lists created by IFLA for other religions
  
• Compare Mazal authority record to LC and VIAF
  
• Enhance existing Wikidata items based on NLI collections
  
• Create Wikidata items for anonymous Jewish classics which do not yet have such
