Discussion

edit

@GZWDer, Pigsonthewing, ChristianKl, Mikey641, Pamputt:, as individuals involved in the property proposal, a couple of comments:

  • I am not sure where in the source of the page of a given celebrity I am supposed to find this number. Has anyone elsewhere been able to find it?
  • In seeing whether the above was possible, I discovered that the same URL scheme could be used to identify articles: substituting "1" for $1 in the formatter URL yields a 2005 article about Indian movies in the Anglosphere box office. Should, then, this property be changed to the more general "Bollywood Hungama ID"?

Just because you could put those articles in the URL scheme doesn't mean that they are in the scope for which the property was created. I don't see a good reason for why they should be in scope. ChristianKl07:48, 3 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Not linking to URLs

edit

@GZWDer, Pamputt: This property is not linking correctly to the formatter URL in question and I am only seeing the numeric number (not linked) in Wikidata bio items. Can you please check the what the problem here might be? Gotitbro (talk) 06:15, 2 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Pintoch, Bodhisattwa: Can you see what the error here is? Thanks. Gotitbro (talk) 05:51, 3 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
