• distinguish between primary and secondary sources in references;
• use other items in aliases. It will allow to:
  • automate alias creation creating aliases from all the combinations of the aliases of the items used;
  • spot "derivate" items.
• allow to automate edits directly in statements:
  • allow to indicate an XML/HTTP request where import data whenever it changes;
• view statistics about items edited by me (or by other contributors) such as the constraint violations
• allow to bookmark statements (useful for external uses such as spaced repetition)
• ?treat descriptions and aliases as normal properties: it will allow to:
  • add references to aliases and descriptions;
  • add multiple descriptions in the same language (useful for lists the various interpretations of a mathematical object);
• have items (not identifiers) for every news and blog article and for every encyclopedia/dictionary entry
• automatically create all aliases/descriptions based on given name (P735) and family name (P734).
• history of statements: visualize the history of specific statements, instead of whole items

About properties

• automate property creation;
• allow "search-only properties": properties that can be used in SPARQL searches but that can't be actively used;
