Women affiliated with the MfN Berlin

This sister project and spin-off from previous work done at the museum on collection agents aims to highlight women affiliated with the museum. They women were active in different roles, supporting research and contributing to the collection in many ways.

The project started in 2023 and a project group came together for the first time early in 2024.

Currently, the first steps are to:

• collect names and information about any women related to the MfN and its collection,
• create a dataset of these female collection agents,
• research the life and work of selected women.

Outcomes

The envisioned outcomes include an linked open dataset and publications.
