"Antonio XUEREB (Actif à La Valette en 1776) Vue panoramique de La Valette depuis Samra Toile 58,5 x 125 cm (Restaurations anciennes) Nous rapprochons notre tableau des six toiles (56 x 126 cm ; signées, localisées et datées Antonio Xuereb Malta 1776) d'Antonio Xuereb vendues en 2000 (Tajan, 20 décembre 2000, n° 10). Jusqu'à la découverte de ces signatures et dates en 2000, les tableaux étaient attribués à Alberto Pullicino (voir vente Sotheby's, 29 octobre 1998, n° 237 et vente Christie's 5 juillet 1985, n° 58)."
