Description
Allegory on the French invasion of the Netherlands in the Rampjaar of 1672. A smiling young man shows a drawing or a print to a sitting man wearing a white cap. On it the Gallic rooster sits over the Dutch Garden in which the Dutch Lion lays defeated. The sword is broken, the arrows are scattered and the fence has been forced open. At the bottom of the sheet some musical notes.
