Description
Картина в аллегорической форме представляет Екатерину II как продолжательницу дел Петра Великого, изображенного восседающим на облаках в левой части композиции. Бог времени Хронос указывает Петру I на медальон с портретом Eкатерины II, который поддерживает летящая Слава, у нее в руках карта Черного моря и Крымa. Внизу показана Исаакиевская площадь с памятником Петру Великому, к которому подносят турецкие знамена. По мосту шествуют русские войска и пленные турки.
