Summary

Description
English: 2nd – 3rd century AD. The mosaic was found in a house, probably destructed in antiquity. Within a wide border of red coloured rosettes a square of 1 meter holds a male figure, named Kerdon. He is crowned with a laurel wreath, his body is also adorned with laurel wreaths worn diagonally. Placing a figure in a small area with a wider border is a style of the period.
