Este Monumento está ubicado en el Ensanche de Vallecas inaugurado el 23 de mayo de 2005. Se trata de una réplica realizada por el escultor Ignacio Pérez Solano, réplica basada en la cabeza olmeca número 8 de Veracruz. Tiene las mismas dimensiones que la original: 2,18 metros de altura por 1,46 de ancho. Con un peso de 5, 5 toneladas (la original pesa 21 toneladas), está realizada en piedra sedimentaria gris clara y reproduce a un personaje denominado «El Rey» por su aspecto majestuoso. Obra donada por el Estado de Veracruz (Méjico) a Madrid.

El monumento está situado en la glorieta a la cual confluyen las calles del Puerto de Porzuna y de la Granja de San Ildefonso.

This monument is located in the Ensanche de Vallecas inaugurated on May 23, 2005. It is a replica made by the sculptor Ignacio Pérez Solano, replica based on the Olmec head number 8 of Veracruz. It has the same dimensions as the original: 2.18 meters high by 1.46 wide. With a weight of 5, 5 tons (the original weighs 21 tons), is made of light gray sedimentary stone and reproduces a character called "The King" for its majestic appearance. Work donated by the State of Veracruz (Mexico) to Madrid.

The monument is located in the roundabout where the streets of the Port of Porzuna and the Granja de San Ildefonso converge.

Denkmal in der am 23. Mai 2005 eingeweihten Ensanche de Vallecas. Es handelt sich um eine Replik des Bildhauers Ignacio Pérez Solano, die auf der Olmec-Kopfnummer 8 von Veracruz basiert. Es hat die gleichen Abmessungen wie das Original: 2,18 Meter hoch und 1,46 breit. Mit einem Gewicht von 5, 5 Tonnen (das Original wiegt 21 Tonnen), besteht es aus hellgrauem Sedimentgestein und reproduziert einen Charakter namens "The King" für sein majestätisches Aussehen. Vom Staat Veracruz (Mexiko) an Madrid gespendet.

Das Denkmal befindet sich im Kreisverkehr, wo die Straßen des Hafens von Porzuna und der Granja de San Ildefonso zusammenlaufen.
