Summary
| Description | Calaceite, (en catalán Calaceit) es un municipio de la comarca de Matarraña, en la provincia de Teruel, comunidad autónoma de Aragón, España. El pueblo de Calaceite se encuentra situado en la carena de una loma que forma la divisoria de aguas entre el río de Algars y el Matarraña, en el cual sobresalen los cerros de San Antonio, de San Cristóbal y del Castillo. El núcleo más antiguo se formó alrededor del antiguo castillo, del cual no quedan restos visibles, donde se edificó también la primitiva iglesia de San Pedro, parece ser que en el mismo lugar donde se encontraba la antigua mezquita. |
