Notes Auch bekannt als „Der Judaskuss“. Das Gemälde wurde am 30. Juli 2008 in Odesa gestohlen und im Juni 2010 in Berlin wieder aufgefunden. Mehrere zeitgenössische Kopien des Werkes sind bekannt, erstellt von Caravaggio oder seinen Schülern, z.B. in der Irischen Nationalgallerie in Dublin (File:Caravaggio - Taking of Christ - Dublin.jpg) welches als Original in Betracht gezogen wird[1] , die Autorenschaft aller bekannten Kopien ist ungewiss.
