Description
The El Ole of 22.5 GRT was built in Newcastle in 1859 to the order of the shipping manager C. K. Hansen. He also led the company that owned her. The name was rather unusual for a Danish boat, but was inspired by a very popular theater play where the actress Pepita de Oliva performed the El Olé. In 1872 the boat was sold to Kjøbenhavns Skibsvandforsyningsselskab which changed its company name in 1874 to the slightly more pronounceable Det Forenede Bugserselskab A/S. The vessel was broken up around 1880. Souce: jmarcussen.dk (in Danish).
