Möglicherweise ist das Gemälde auch nur eine verkleinerte Variante eines „Bildnis einer Frau mit weißer Haube“, das im Herzog-Anton-Ulrich-Museum Braunschweig aufbewahrt wird und vielleicht Magdalena Wittig (Wittich?), die Ehefrau des Augsburger Kaufmanns Veit Wittich zeigt.[1]
