Nederlands: De twee Emmaüsgangers zijn zittend aan een tafel in een prieel bij een herberg in slaap gevallen. Links schenkt een jonge bediende wijn in een glas, achter de gasten staat een vrouw met een mand in de armen. Op tafel ligt een tinnen bord met een geschilde citroen. Links verschijnt uit een wolk de schimmige gedaante van Christus met uitgestoken hand.
