Description
The Doctor. Standing in a window, a doctor looks at a bottle with urine. In front of him on the window sill are a metal dish, a decorative jug and a copy of a book of human anatomy (De humani corporis fabrica, p. 163 of Volume I). On the left behind the doctor stands a women with a bucket. The window is decorated with a relief depicting cherubs and a buck. Copy after the original by Gerard Dou in Wenen.
