Description
Español: La obra representa a la Virgen María imponiendo la casulla al arzobispo San Ildefonso de Toledo, y es posible que formara parte de un retablo, aunque también, por su pequeño formato, pudo realizarse para la devoción privada. El cuidado tratamiento, la refinada iluminación y el soporte de madera son característicos de este tipo de obras. En ella el santo se encuentra arrodillado y recibe la casulla de manos de la Virgen. Todo ello se encuentra acompañado de unos ángeles que son representados rodeando la escena principal.
