English: Koria museum bridge, Kouvola, Finland. - Iron truss bridge, completed in 1870. Middle span is original, made of puddled iron. Other two spans were originally wooden Howe trusses, replaced with iron trusses 1880. Bridge was used first as a railway bridge, since 1926 a road bridge and since 1985 as a pedestrian and bicycle bridge. Suomi: Korian museosilta, Kouvola, Suomi. - rautainen ristikkosilta, valmistunut 1870. Keskijänne on alkuperäinen ja tehty keittoraudasta. Reunajäneet olivat alun perin puisia Howe-tyyppisiä ristikoita, jotka korvattiin teräsristikoilla 1880. Rautatiesiltana vuoteen 1926, sen jälkeen maantiesiltana vuoteen 1985, jonka jälkeen silta on ollut kevyen liikenteen käytössä. |
