Beschey at Jean François de Bock, Chambre des Arquebusiers, Antwerp, lot no. 8, for ƒ 231 (as ‘Diane richement habilée ſe repoſant fatigué de la chaſſe, elle paroit reprimander la groſſeſſe de Caliſto, que l’on voit nue par le dos, dont la chair eſt une vérité etonante: derriere elle ſont trois Nymphes & plus loin autres & une montagne ſur laquelle eſt une ruine; le Ciel clair eſt traverſé d’un nuage ſombre qui fait valoir la carnation de Caliſto. Enfin ce Tableau eſt traité & imaginé avec toute la connoiſſance qu’un Artiſte peut atteindre. h. 34 pouc. l. 19. B[ois]’)
