Notes The priory of the Dominican Monastery in Lublin was used as a storage place for land and court record books already in the 16th century. The Diet of 1589 resolved that the Dominicans be paid 10 marks annually from the taxes collected in Lublin in connection with the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus at the Temple (or Candlemas). Painting of Our Lady of Succour, also known as Our Lady of the Crown Tribunal, was worshiped by deputies, plaintiffs and defendants who sought justice through her intercession.
