Medieval lamp hanger
Description
English: A copper alloy lamp suspender dating to the fourteenth or fifteenth century AD. The object comprises a central circular section stem which extends at one end to a flat circular attachment terminal with circular perforation. At the other end, the stem extends to three rectangular section arms which taper to form flat round terminals with circular perforations. At the base of the stem, there is also a semi-circular knop with circular perforation. The lamp suspender measures 35mm in length; each arm measures 15mm in length and the object has a maximum width of 33mm.
