This superb old classic millerite has a large spray of golden-metallic crystals showing, embedded in the chalcopyrite matrix around it. The tips of the freestanding crystals stick out the top of the piece, showing that this is not a contact cleavage fragment but rather a natural grouping of intact crystals enmeshed partly in the matrix. Ex. Carl Bosch Collection.
