English: Paul von Monakow (1885–1945), since 1912 husband of Alice Gustine Hochschild (1889–1948), son of Constantin von Monakow (1853–1930). Paul von Monakow died during a climbing trip near Samaden in canton Grisons, Switzerland.

Deutsch: PD Dr. med. Paul von Monakow (1885–1945), ab 1912 Ehemann von Alice Gustine Hochschild (1889–1948), Sohn des Prof. Dr. med. Constantin von Monakow (1853–1930). Paul von Monakow verunglückte am 21. August 1945 während einer Bergtour bei Samaden/Samedan im Kanton Graubünden und verstarb einen Tag später im Kreisspital Samaden.
