Marriage is difficult. So is building a community from scratch, specially in a context where all the other projects besides Wikipedia are not well known. How to begin? How to interact with libraries, archives, local government to release their data to Wikidata? How to organize events about Wikidata? How to not get a divorce while helping improve the best knowledge base there is?
In this short presentation we will:
Try to build an "Elevator pitch" for public institutions on why is a good thing to use Wikidata
Describe the work of the local community (adding huge amounts of data to Wikidata)
Getting people to know wikidata (how? and why?) and forming a community
to share – to copy, distribute and transmit the work
to remix – to adapt the work
