English: QASIM AL-ANWAR (AH 837/1433-4 AD): DIWAN, PROBABLY SHIRAZ, AH 2 RAMADAN 897/28 JUNE 1492 AD Poetry, Persian manuscript on paper, 266ff. with 14ll. of fine black nasta'liq, in two gold outlined columns, titles in gold within cartouches with blue floral decoration, opening illuminated bifolium, preceded by illuminated shamsa with inscription in white kufic, f. 230a with illuminated heading and title of anis al-'arifin, f. 253b with colophon dated 22 Sha'ban 897, f. 254a with illuminated heading and title of anis al-'ashiqin, f. 266a with final colophon dated 2 Ramadan 879, in modern brown paper cover -- Folio 8½ x 4 7/8in. (21.5 x 12cm)
