Summary

Description
English: Rosemarie Searle taught at Kumara School, where she organised school sports and coached children’s softball in her own time. After an accident left her with a traumatic brain injury, she retrained as a Diversional Therapist. She was employed by Kowhai Manor rest home in Greymouth and took on additional voluntary activities there. She is a member of Kumara Community Trust and publisher of the community newsletter ‘Gold Trails’. She has been involved with the local Lions Club and has researched Kumara history. Ms Searle was a member of the Kumara Hall Committee and the Kumara Sports Ground Committee.
