Notes Possibly from Northern Ruthenia. The original brass riza (oklad) was moved to a reconstructed figurine. The iconography derives from the legend of Saint Nicholas' assistance to the inhabitants of the city Mozhaysk, which was besieged by the Tatars in the 14th-century. Exhibited during workshops "The True History of Saint Nicholas".
