Română: Atacul de la Smîrdan, ulei pe pânză; lemn; bronz aurit, 295×388 cm, nr.inv. 131525 - Muzeul Naţional de Istorie a României - BUCUREŞTI. Este redat un atac impetuos al infanteriei române împotriva redutelor otomane de la Smârdan. Scenă de o impresionantă forţă expresivă asupra vigoarei şi elanului ostăşesc ridicate la proporţii de sinteză de către autorul picturii. Tabloul este înrămat cu o ramă din lemn vopsită cu bronz aurit. Este semnat şi datat în partea stângă jos cu roşu. English: There is an impetuous attack on the Romanian infantry against the Ottoman Ottoman offensive at Smardan. Scene of an impressive expressive force on the force and impulse of the local aristocracy, raised to the extent of synthesis by the author of the painting. The painting is framed with a wooden frame painted with golden bronze. It is signed and dated in the lower left with red. |
