Description

La torre de La Pica en alza sobre una suave colina en el despoblado del mismo nombre, en el término municipal de Tajahuerce, comarca de Campo de Gomara, provincia de Soria. Se tiene noticias de que en el siglo XI, en tiempos del general Galib, el conde Garci Fernández, rompiendo las treguas que en ese momento se estaban negociando en Córdoba y aprovechando la ausencia de Galib de la zona, inicia una expedición junto a las mesnadas de los Infantes de Lara contra las torres del valle del Rituerto y Gómara, Canales (Aldealpozo), La Pica, Masegoso y Torre de Amril (Torambil).

La torre de La Pica es una torre de defensa beberer al estilo de la de Noviercas, del siglo IX-XI.
