يحدد symmetric constraint (Q21510862) أن الخاصية متماثلة، ويجب أن تحتوي قيم هذه الخاصية على بيان بنفس الخاصية التي تشير إلى العنصر الأصلي.

على سبيل المثال، sibling (P3373) متناظرة: إذا كان البيان Lana Wachowski (Q9545711)sibling (P3373)Lilly Wachowski (Q9544977) existsموجودا، فيجب أن يكون البيان Lilly Wachowski (Q9544977)sibling (P3373)Lana Wachowski (Q9545711) موجودا أيضا، تتضمن الخصائص المتماثلة الأخرى spouse (P26) وshares border with (P47) وtwinned administrative body (P190).

إذا لم يتم تحديد constraint scope (P4680)، يتم فحص هذا القيد فقط على القيمة الرئيسية لبيان، هذا هو أيضا النطاق الوحيد المدعوم حاليا.

هناك عدة طرق ممكنة لمعالجة انتهاك هذا القيد:
