Why is the prefix not part of the identifier? edit

This property is explicitly defined without the prefix. Why is this? The prefix is commonly an intrinsic part of an UBERON identifier (e.g. membrane organ. Could the prefix be introduced as part of the uberon identifier on Wikidata? There was a similar discussion on the prefix on the Disease Ontology Identifiers. Soon disease ontology will contain references to Uberon and we would like to add these to the respective wikidata items, with the prefix included. --Andrawaag (talk) 19:24, 24 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Support Same as with the GO prefix. The prefix should be included.

## Applies to jurisdiction qualifiers are odd edit

It's useful to have URL expanders for different databases, but qualifying these with 'applies to jurisdiction' is odd. The country is not particularly relevant. The content is. It doesn't matter that the OLS is in Europe, the important thing is that this is a generic ontology browser. Similarly, for Riken the important thing is that this is a URL for looking at FANTOM sample data for the relevant ontology term. It would be better to have this as metadata. We can coordinate this with the metadata on the different ontology-specific browsers on the obo pages (which I help maintain), e.g. http://obofoundry.org/ontology/uberon.html . Also, it would be useful to explicitly designate the OBO PURL, e.g. http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/UBERON_$1 Cmungall (talk) 21:32, 6 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
