perhaps we need a more general property instead of Wikidata:Property proposal/Person#together with more general to use also for positions (rulers, kings, executives..) which are only granted together with somebody else, kind of inverse property (P1696) of applies to part (P518); example Q61277Frederick III (Q77233) position held (P39) prince-elector (Q22722) of (P642) Electorate of Saxony (Q156199) together with =>John, Elector of Saxony (Q61277).--Oursana (talk) 15:47, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
I changed the property from "award shared with" to just "together with"/"shared with". As part of doing that, I moved the translations that were already there from labels to aliases, so that they labels can reflect the new phrasing. So, to the people who have translated, it would be great if you could take a second look at this property to translate its new title. @Чаховіч Уладзіслаў, Accurimbono, DSGalaktos, Benjozork, Александр Сигачёв, Sjoerddebruin: and @Милан Јелисавчић, Oursana:. From the discussion above I understand that this property originated in the "award received" context and I suppose that "shared property" remains intended in the sense of a joint award, or awarded jointly, not merely concurrently.
For many properties it is routinely true that multiple items may be coincident in time or concurrent. In the database they "share" one value of a "point in time" or "start time" or "end time" qualifier. I suppose that a "shared with" qualifier should not routinely be used.
Minutes ago I deleted four uses of this property to express concurrence without jointness for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award Q430035. Now I see that this action amounts to reverting some qualifications entered by the main contributor to this page @Jon Harald Søby:, such as this one (second of two by same editor). I did not check the item histories and notice your name in advance, JHS, or I would have submitted the first half of this note without making those changes. --P64 (talk) 20:30, 5 December 2015 (UTC)
