Basic import edit

I just uploaded the property for ~840 items from the official GND mapping http://saebi.isgv.de/gnd.txt (2015-01-26). For 540 more entries from that file I was unable to identify an associated wikidata entry and the probability is high that this is because there is no corresponding article in de:Wikipedia. I have no information about the number of Säbi articles without GND mapping (which cannot be referenced by this property anyway). -- Gymel (talk) 15:11, 30 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Well, yes: [1] states: 1384 articles (as of 2015-01-29) and the file I processed contained 1383 GND numbers. -- Gymel (talk) 15:14, 30 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Rename to Sächsische Biografie (GND) ID edit

See also the discussion at Property talk:P7902#Rename to Deutsche Biographie (GND) ID. The situation for P1710 is a bit different, but as for P7902 if " (GND) " is added to the property label, readers looking at the page of an item where a P1710 value is stored may better see what the value actually is and also can more easily understand why the property is placed in the section of VIAF sources next to the property for the GND ID. Example where all three values exist: Q107164#P227 (English label for DtBio has been changed already). @Kolja21, Epìdosis: shall it be done here too? @Kolja21: Would you agree? HumanAFuser (talk) 11:00, 18 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
