Difference with P841 edit

A clear specification of the difference between feast day (P841) and name day (P1750) is wanted. Is name day (P1750) non-saint? — Finn Årup Nielsen (fnielsen) (talk) 14:04, 14 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

feast day (P841) is for items with Saints. name day (P1750) for given names. --- Jura 14:23, 14 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
Is there some way to connect both properties? As 'name days' originate from saints with a certain name having their feast on a certain date, this would be nice. For example, knowing that June 24th is a name day (P1750) for people called John because it is supposed to be Nativity of St. John the Baptist (Q3870479) and not the feast day (P841) of some other saint called John (the gospel writer, for example). Moveable name days edit

Some name days are moveable. How to use name day (P1750) in that case? Data Gamer play 07:35, 11 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
