Constraint on Wikimedia list of fictional characters (Q63032896)

Hi,

I just realised the constraint forcing the target to be Wikimedia list of fictional characters (Q63032896). I’m not too convinced by this item − surely this is equivalent to list of Star Fox characters (Q2663905)instance of (P31)Wikimedia list article (Q13406463) + list of Star Fox characters (Q2663905)is a list of (P360)fictional character (Q95074)?

Fictional collective entity

After finding a constraint violation on list of characters (P1881) of Revelation Space universe (Q2146771) I concluded that such a list may contain characters from a fictional universe or place appearing in several works (not necessarily even by the same author) just as well as those from a specific work, and considered defining fictional entity (Q14897293) as a "work" in its own right. Eventually, however, I decided to make a change with more limited consequences and just added fictional collective entity (Q108764372) to the subject type constraint (Q21503250) of list of characters (P1881) instead (it could be disputed whether such a fictional entity would necessarily constitute a creative work, and I didn't want the constraint to depend on that philosophical issue). --SM5POR (talk) 21:18, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
